Man felt his "last breath," covered over his unresponsive dog, and decided to change course.

Every human life is important and ought to be safeguarded. Animal Aid is the only worldwide rescue organization that fully comprehends this.

Despite their meager resources, they have made it their mission to help any animal in need. To be specific, the animals that frequent the streets and are therefore considered a nuisance by many.

Late that evening, a call came into Animal Aid about a dog that had collapsed in the middle of the sidewalk. His neck injury was quite bad and becoming worse quickly. The diseased tissue was being devoured by maggots. Simply stated, no one helped him before his condition became so dire. Not to mention, that's very unsuitable.

The veterinarians at the Animal Aid shelter were used to seeing cases like his, when the patient presented with a large number of maggots in the incision. They were quite careful with the poor dog. The volunteer took the dog, carefully wrapped in the blanket, to the waiting vehicle.

The dog was found passed out in the middle of the night back at the refuge. He was in such a weak state now. However, he was now surrounded by caring people who had an extensive understanding of veterinary medicine. The medicine they injected into the wound would poison the maggots over night without causing any pain to the patient. Intravenous fluids, painkillers, and antibiotics were administered. For the dog's sake, it was important to give it some time to rest while the medication took effect.

The dog's appearance and demeanor improved greatly upon awakening. As best he could, he hauled himself up onto his haunches. His gaping wound has to be treated immediately. When he was put under, they went right to work. After the wound was cleansed, a bandage was placed over it.

The sick dog had recovered well and was devouring his food. Feeling satisfied, he poured the whole contents of the bowl into his lips at once. When he last had a full meal is unknown. Ignoring the possibility of whether he ever did! He was a pleasure to be around since he was so modest and grateful.

This dog has made remarkable strides in only 10 days. The infection has been cleared up, and the wound is still pretty large. This dog now has the energy to get up and about. His wound continues to need frequent attention from the nurses and physicians. Cleaning up the area where you are recovering will help you feel better faster. All of the medical staff thinks he's the "perfect patient."

This dog is full of love and looks forward to his daily walks. He shows his appreciation by tagging along with his rescuers on a leisurely walk. His frequent walks have helped him in more ways than one. They help him out since he gets to mingle with other people and work up a sweat.

By day 20, there was a noticeable reduction in the size of his wound. Perhaps even more than that! It's incredible to see the power of love and modern medicine.

The majority of individuals in his situation would have decided to have their dog put to sleep. Animal Aid, however! To wit: meet Marshall, the dog's official name. Just look at that beautiful smile.

This puppy loves to run and play. He makes regular trips to see his closest friends and drop off and pick up his pets. He can't help but be cheerful now that his health and happiness have been restored. The youngster is one of a kind.

You wouldn't believe the impact regular medicine, love, and faith have made in this life. YES! Yes, in a word. Due of this, Animal Aid really stands out as an exceptional organization. If you have the chance, please share the inspiring story of Marshall's amazing rescue and recovery with as many people as possible. Volunteers and donors fund Animal Aid, and the volunteers work tirelessly for nothing except the gratitude of the animals in their care.
