I was able to save a little kitten that was near death.

This kitten was discovered lying wet on the road, weak and collapsed. Her small body was unharmed, but she seemed to have suffered horrible trauma; maybe she had fallen or been rolled under a passing car.

But we gently rushed her to our clinic, checked her out, discovered no outward injuries, but gave her pain medication, and put her in a nice, clean kennel. In order to know whether she had fatal internal injuries, we would have to wait. Within minutes, though, we were overjoyed to find that she had opened her eyes and was carefully taking in her environment via perked ears. Like, "Where am I?" she appeared to be asking. Her eagerness to learn suggested her vitality was still there.

HORRERA'S RESCUE JOURNEY....

We couldn't see a wound....

She was breathing rapidly and couldn't stand...

We immediately gave her pain relief medicine...

We found no external wounds on her tiny body...

And she already seemed to be a little more alert...

She was starting to take in her surroundings...

But stress and pain caused her to pant...

She just wanted to hide herself away...

As her condition improved, so did her appetite!

She was still nervous but was feeling much stronger...

The family who called us for help are going to look after her...
