A wild beast had attacked a gorgeous dog that was just a few weeks old. Both the top of her head and the base of her neck had swollen and infected bite wounds. She attempted to raise her head and wag her tail to her rescuers, but she was too weak.
We realized that if the antibiotics didn't help her, she wouldn't have much of a chance since she was too young to have had such a terrible injury.
This newborn's delicate nature inspired the moniker Sprinkles. She spent 8 days on the verge of death, but as soon as she began to show signs of recovery, we knew she wanted to be in her mother's arms, surrounded by her siblings. Right at this moment, the Sprinkle is a deluge of affection.
Dog is fighting for her life after suffering fatal bite wounds.
Her neck wasn't broken but nerve damage from wounds left her close to death...
She tried so hard to greet her rescuers...
But the tiny sweetheart could not lift her head...
Dont worry little darling, you're in safe hands now...
The punctures were deep and infection was rampant...
Her condition was so critical and she was just so young...
And now she needed to be mothered...
She ate like a little soldier...
She was still too weak to play but she could give kisses...
We went to visit Sprinkles two weeks later...
