A woman answers the call of a newborn baby and discovers a human infant nestled among a stray dog's puppies.
Stray dog Way has a kind heart and lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The stray dog was trying her best to take care of her new brood of pups when she came upon another person in need.
Although Way had always managed to find food on the streets, she now had a lot more mouths to feed. They were entering Argentina's cold winter, so she had to move quickly.
Way then came upon a human infant, only hours old, in an alley where its mother had obviously abandoned it. Motherly instincts kicked in for the dog, and she realized the newborn needed to be kept warm. The new mother returned to her pups and carefully placed them all around the infant. She encircled them as tightly as she could.
Alejandria Griffin, a local neighbor, heard the baby crying the next morning. And when she checked it out for herself, she couldn't believe her eyes. An orphaned infant was raised by a stray dog who had found her. She quickly dialed 911 for assistance.
The infant, who has been given the name Santino, was taken straight to the ER. Doctors think the infant would have died if not for the courageous efforts of the stray dog, as recounted by Alejandria. A hero's welcome was extended to Way.
Santino's health, considering everything he'd gone through, was remarkably excellent, and that was mostly because to the superb care that Way had given him.
The mother, a 33-year-old lady from Buenos Aires, was identified as having eight previous children at the time of the baby's birth. She was taken into custody and accused of deserting her newborn child.
Way and her infants were brought up by a local shelter where they would be cared for until they found permanent homes. All in all, it's a fantastic tale.
